The remaining suspended solids from the Primary Brine Filtration Unit are further removed by the Secondary Brine Filtration Unit. The filtration is operated by a body feed and precoat method in order to reduce the consumption of the filter aids and extend the frequency of cleaning. The filter elements can be regenerated by backwashing of the brine in reverse. The generation is automatically performed by either a timer setting or pressure drop detection. The filtered brine flow to Polished Brine Tank after PH adjusting.
